Terms and conditions

Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.   

The competition is not associated with Facebook or LinkedIn and is in no way sponsored, endorsed or organised by Facebook or LinkedIn. Participants may therefore not make any claims against Facebook or LinkedIn in respect of the prize draw and Facebook or LinkedIn are not available as contacts in respect of the game.

Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible to enter the competition. Participation with fake identities or with identities of third parties is not permitted.
All persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition and employees of Flughafen Linz GesmbH are not eligible to participate in the competition.

The competitions and prize draws are held without recourse to the courts. 
The prize is not transferable, nor can the prize be exchanged or paid out in cash.   

We reserve the right to stop the competition prematurely in whole or in part at any time, even without observing deadlines, or to change its course if it is not possible for technical reasons (e.g. computer virus, manipulation of or errors in software/hardware) or legal reasons (e.g. prohibition by Facebook or LinkedIn) to guarantee proper implementation of the competition without any claims being able to be derived from this.

The winners will be notified by Facebook or LinkedIn message and in a comment. If the winners do not respond within 14 days of the notification being sent, the claim to the prize shall expire and a new winner shall be determined. Any personal taxes, duties, fees and subsequent costs incurred shall be met by the winner. In participating, contestants guarantee to hold all rights to uploaded content, such as photos, videos, texts, and not to violate any third-party rights (e.g. trademark rights, image protection, ancillary copyright) or legal provisions. Flughafen Linz GesmbH shall be indemnified and held harmless in this respect.

The participants give their consent to the creation of image, video and audio recordings of their person in the context of the prize draw and the announcement of the prize as well as its presentation, and to the use and publication of such images for the purpose of public reporting on the prize draw. In the event of winning, the participants expressly agree to the publication of the name as well as the photo at www.linz-airport.com and, if necessary, in selected media (e.g. Facebook or LinkedIn). Participants may therefore not assert any claims under §§ 16, 43, 1041f ABGB (Austrian Civil Code), 86ff UrhG (Austrian Copyright Act) or any other corresponding claims, in particular for payment, for any reason whatsoever.

Flughafen Linz GesmbH will comply with the legal provisions on data protection (DSG 2000). Flughafen Linz GesmbH is entitled to pass on the data of the winners to any cooperation partners or third parties in order to enable the delivery or handing over of the prize.

The legal process is excluded. If legal recourse is permissible, the competent court in Linz shall have jurisdiction.
The liability of Flughafen Linz GesmbH is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Austrian law shall apply to the exclusion of the conflict-of-law rules.
