Taking the bus or train to Linz Airport
Public transport is a favourably priced and comfortable alternative to taking your own car or a taxi to the airport. Airport bus line 601 or the train take you to Linz Airport.
Airport bus line 601
From the city centre of Linz to the airport
OÖ Verkehrsverbund’s bus line 601 takes you from Linz main station to Linz Airport in about 22 minutes and without having to change busses.

- Children (6 – 15 years): EUR 1.90
Train
From Linz und Wels to the train station in Hörsching
In hourly intervals, the train takes passengers from Linz (10 minutes) or Wels (14 minutes) to the train station in Hörsching. People in possession of a valid plane ticket can take from there the shuttle to the airport at no extra charge. Shuttles are offered as needed between 5am and 11pm. It’ll take you approximately three minutes to arrive at the terminal.
