The Blue Danube Airport Linz takes its responsibility towards the region and its performance capability and competitiveness in Europe particularly seriously. Here a lot of feeling, cautious action as well as long-term decision making is required. With this in mind, the Linz Airport management is working to ensure, that the future development of the company not only secures economical success, but at the same time takes place in a manner which is compatible for the people and the environment.
The company is supported by the URIS advisory committee, which was founded in December 1999 (URIS = Umfeld Rückkoppelungs- und Informations-System / Environmental Feedback and Information System).
The URIS advisory committee is a neutral contact point for all neighboring communities. In the URIS advisory committee, current developments and pending problems are debated and worked through.
